The GAP (Rent Gap) Program provides short-term financial assistance to prevent displacement and stabilize households experiencing a temporary financial crisis. This program recognizes that a small amount of timely support can prevent homelessness, family separation, and long-term instability.
The gap is the distance between what a family can afford right now and what they need to stay housed, often just one missed paycheck, a medical bill, or a benefit delay away. We close that gap before it becomes a crisis.
